THE PROJECT
Four storeys on the Kestel ridge, 600 m² of interior. The house follows the slope instead of flattening it: the entrance floor sits level with the road, the living rooms and the pool terrace drop a level below it, and the bedrooms stack above. Every elevation looks at something different.
THE PLOT
The 500 m² plot runs steeply downhill. Between the road and the elevation that sees the sea there were two full floors of drop.
WHAT WE DID
We split the programme across four levels and tied them together with an internal lift. Excavation, retaining and structure were solved as one reinforced-concrete system rather than three separate jobs.

This villa qualifies for both Turkish citizenship and a residence permit; its sale price is above the threshold.

The eastern ridge, above the coast road. The bay and the castle headland away to the west, the first slopes of the Taurus directly behind. This is the height where the traffic stops but the centre is still fifteen minutes along the shore. We have been building on these slopes since 1994, and we know which plots hit rock and which take surface water before anyone digs.
